| Description: | Para abordar a temática aqui proposta, no capítulo 1 foi feito um breve histórico a respeito da inserção da mulher no mercado de trabalho e posteriormente na marinha mercante brasileira. No capítulo 2 foi feito um relato sobre os preconceitos e dificuldades os quais as mulheres sofrem no mercado de trabalho em geral. No capítulo 3 foi discutido o assunto do preconceito vivenciado especificamente pelas mulheres a bordo, sendo feita a análise das entrevistas das mesmas. No capítulo 4 foi abordado o assunto da maternidade para a mulher mercante e as dificuldades de conciliar esse ramo de trabalho com a escolha de ser mãe. E no capítulo 5 foram relatados os casos de sucesso de mulheres mercantes que alcançaram importantes cargos a bordo. Como conclusão identificou-se que o preconceito e a discriminação ainda existem, mas que já ocorre a aceitação da mulher a bordo. |
| Abstract: | To discuss the topic proposed here, in chapter 1 was made a brief history about the inclusion of women in the labor market and later in the Brazilian merchant marine. Chapter 2 described prejudices and difficulties which women suffer in the general labor market. Chapter 3 discussed the prejudice experienced specifically by women on board and it was built an analysis from the interviews. In chapter 4 motherhood for merchant women and the difficulties of reconciling this line of work with the choice of being a mother was discussed. And in chapter 5, success stories of merchant women that reached high ranks on board were narrated. As conclusion it was found that prejudice and discrimination still exist but the acceptance of women on board already exists. |
