CIAGA, Rio de Janeiro, 2017 Este trabalho tem por finalidade demonstrar as principais características do navio classe “Triple - E” , sua manobrabilidade, a ação do vento em sua área vélica e o Efeito Squat. Serão apresentados o histórico da evolução do contêiner e sua relevância para o transporte de mercadorias em geral, a sua padronização segundo associações internacionais, suas vantagens e desvantagens como meio de transporte e os mais utilizados tipos de contêineres. Como ênfase do trabalho, serão apresentados os principais pr oblemas relativos a manobrabilidade da embarcação classe “Triple - E” devido a ação de fortes ventos, a importância do auxílio de rebocadores portuários, mas principalmente alertar a importância d o conhecimento por parte dos Oficiais de Náutica relativo a ca pacidade de ma nobra desses gigantes navios. |
| Abstract: | This study has the purpose of demonstrating the main characteristics of the “Triple - E” class ship, her maneuverability, the wind action in her sail area and the squat effect. The history of the evolution of the container and its relevance for the transport ation of goods in general, its standardization according to international associations, its advantages and disadvantages as a means of transportation and the most used types of containers will be presented. As an emphasis of the work, the main problems rel ated to the maneuverability of the "Triple - E" class vessel due to the action of strong winds, the importance of the aid of port tugboats will be presented, but mainly to alert the importance of the knowledge by the Nautical Officers relative to t he maneuve rability of these giant ships. |
